Chili cookoff to benefit Muscular Dystrophy Foundation

The U'al Come Back Saloon will host an ICS-sanctioned chili cookoff Aug. 12-13 to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.

Red Chili ICS Cook-offs will be Saturday and Sunday from noon-3 p.m.; entry fee is $30 per day. A Salsa Competition will be held as well; entry fee is $15 and judging is at noon. Both competitions are open to the public.

Also featured at the cookoff will be raffles, refreshments, entertainment, a Chili Verde Cook-off and more. Craft booths are also available at $25 for both days. Winners advance to the Northern Nevada/High Sierra Regional Chili Cook-off or semifinals of the World Championship Chili Cook-off.
