Community Center will distribute food

The U.S. Department of Agriculture will distribute food from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Carson City Community Center .

Identification is required for the receipt of food. Food Stamp households must submit a food voucher, along with the required Food Stamp ID. Energy Fuel Assistance households must provide a copy of their notice of decision along with completing a state application.

Other households will be required to provide proof of income and complete a state application in order to establish eligibility. A representative from USDA Commodity Food program will be at the Community Center to qualify eligible clients. Call 687-4680 for more information.
