Consumers may have Firestone tires replaced for free at Les Schwab Tire Center

Consumers may have Firestone tires replaced for free at any Les Schwab Tire Center.

The tires were listed in the Sept. 1 consumer advisory by the National Highway Safety Administration .

The recall of 1.4 million tires, not listed in the August advisory, is voluntary and includes Firestone's ATX, Firehawk ATX, ATX 23 Degree, Widetrack Radial and Wilderness tires. Other tires listed on the recall are listed on the consumer advisory available at Schwab centers.

The tires have not been recalled but through an agreement with Firestone Schwab will be reimbursed for the tire replacements.

Replacements may be made at any Les Schwab store in Nevada or Northern California.
