The Business Council of Douglas County is sponsoring two public education forums to help prepare voters for the general election.
The first forum will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday at the Horizon Casino, in Stateline. Candidates for the Tahoe Township Justice of the Peace race, School Board and pro and con representatives for the open space sales tax ballot question will give a presentation.
The second forum will be at 6 p.m., Sept. 21, at the Douglas High School commons, in Minden. This will be an in-depth analysis of the open space sales tax.
