Family Counseling Service of Northern Nevada is accepting applications for its second annual summer camp for all Nevada and northern California children ages 8-18 who are survivors of sexual abuse.

"This camp will benefit all children, especially those from more rural areas of the region who have difficulty getting to Reno for counseling treatment," says Stuart Gordon, FCS executive director and founder of the camp.

The children will enjoy a week of the traditional summer camp activities at Camp Ronald McDonald on Eagle Lake near Susanville, Calif. They will participate in boating, fishing, arts and crafts and a variety of shows and will benefit from built-in treatment.

Camp dates are June 25-July 1. This year's camp sponsors are the local and national Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Women's Pan Hellenic Organization and the Middle Fork Foundation. There is no cost or fee.
