Cinderella Youth Development Scholarship Program will hold a free modeling workshop in Carson City prior to its local preliminary pageant. The workshop will be 1-3 p.m., Nov. 19 at the Western Nevada Performing Arts Center, 224 E. Winnie Lane (behind McDonald's). The pageant will be at noon on Dec. 2 at the Brewery Arts Center. Deadline for entries is Nov. 19.
Cinderella, the largest program of its kind in the world, helps young ladies ages 3-26 develop a positive self-image and learn communication skills and poise.
