The Red Hills Hunting Preserve has announced that a limited number of memberships are still available.

That private hunting area is located just past the Douglas County Campground at Topaz Lake.

The 6,500 acres of that private area offer shotgun hunting for pheasant, chukar, quail, ducks and geese through Mar. 31.

In addition, members can take advantage of two Sporting Clay courses, Five-Stand, Trap Shooting and fishing on the West Walker River.

Hunting dogs and guides are available on request.

Arrangements can be made for group hunts and shoots.

For information, call Jack DeMar at the Red Hills Hunting Preserve at (775) 266-3856.
