The United Blood Services and Model Dairy have joined forces to encouraged citizens to help increase the blood supply in our area. Everyone donating a pint of blood until Sept. 6 will receive a pint of ice cream as a reward for their generosity. Visit the United Blood Services office at 256 E. Winnie Lane, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
