Americans will gather at sites across the nation on Sept. 15 to honor our nation's former prisoners of war (POWs) and those who remain missing in action (MIAs).
It would be so meaningful at this time to pay tribute to those who sacrificed so much for our country, especially this year, the first year commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Korean War.
"They are not forgotten, let's all display our great flag, in the fullest possible accounting of those who were prisoners of war or missing in action in all U.S. wars" on this day, Sept. 15, 2000.
