I prefer a full-time mayor and I (as a taxpayer) prefer a full day's work for a day's pay. Most business activity takes place during the typical eight-hour work day.
Accordingly, Tom Tatro should be at his work place during that eight hours - earning his pay and not romping around doing mayor's work! In like manner, the mayor should be taking care of mayor work in that timeframe. Nope! Gimmee a full-time mayor and not a half a...d effort at mayor's work plus a half a...d job for full pay.
