Letter: Republicans forget Lincoln Savings

Since this point finger attack on the Democratic Party and mud slinging in past years and today, what about our future Republican election for future president? What about the Lincoln Savings scandal that was pushed under the rug? Daddy's connections saw to that, along with what money can buy.

At 25 years of age, Mr. Bush should have been accountable. It was once mentioned very lightly and no news comment from Mr. Bush. It must be nice to be powerful and rich where mistakes are not accounted for. Do we want another "read my lips?" I don't think he should run for office. A lot of people were hurt and lost millions of hard-earned money on his account. How honest can he be in office for president? Maybe we should wake up to the true facts. I thought when a person ran for office, he should be as white as snow.
