Letter: Why not ramps at all intersections

What is Carson City's policy concerning replacing curbs at intersections with wheelchair accessible ramps? Case in point: six curbs at the corners of Winnie Lane and Ivy, where they intersect Mountain Street, were replaced with ramps; however, the remaining two at Ivy were recently replaced with non-accessible curbs.

Also, a ramp was installed on Cabrolet just across the street from a recently-build non-accessible curb where it intersects with Victoria.

I was under the impression that all conventional corner curbs were being replaced with ramps. Will those cited above be torn out and replaced some day with ramps? At what cost? Will someone from city government reply so that we can all know?
