Monaco Coach Corporation announces free gasoline offer

Monaco Coach Corporation announced that it will give away a year's worth of free gasoline to buyers of its gasoline powered luxury motorhomes between now and Dec. 31.

Local dealers participating in Monaco's Free Gasoline promotion include Michael Hohl RV Center at 4455 S. Carson St. in Carson City.

According to corporation Vice President of Sales Mike Snell, "A typical motorhome owner uses an average of 500 gallons of gasoline during a year of travel."

Customers who purchase a new Monaco Monarch, Monaco LaPalma, Holiday Rambler Admiral, Holiday Rambler Vacationer or Holiday Rambler Endeavor Gas between now and the end of the year will receive pre-paid Shell gasoline cards valued at $1,000 to be redeemed at Shell's more than 15,000 retail filling stations in the United States and Canada."

The corporation is one of the nation's leading manufacturers of high-end recreational vehicles under the Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Royale Coach and McKenzie brand names.

The company's stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MNC. Monaco, which reported $781 million in sales for 1999, makes RV products that range in price from $18,000 to more than $900,000.
