A Mass of Resurrection for Elizabeth O. Gilkerson, 83, a Gardnerville resident for the past eight years, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville with Father Bill Nadeau celebrant.
Mrs. Gilkerson died Nov. 26, 2000 in Gardnerville. She was born Feb. 19, 1917, in St. Louis, Mo., to Emile and Idell Nelson Pages.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Houston, Texas.
Mrs. Gilkerson was a secretary for Clark & Courts Legal Offices in Houston for 10 years. She also worked as a Realtor in Houston for many years. She enjoyed painting and gardening. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Houston and a Roman Catholic.
Among her survivors are her son and wife Billy R. and Linda Gilkerson; daughters Anita L. Gilkerson and Anna B. Quisquanay, both of Houston and grandchildren Matthew and Jonathan of Gardnerville and Christopher of Houston.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
