A funeral Mass for Florence Marie Durante, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley with a Rosary at 6 p.m.
Ms. Durante died Sept. 11, 2000 at her home. She was born June 7, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Angelo and Vincenza Caporale Durante.
Mrs. Durante was an assembler for Readers Digest.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Angelo and Ann Durante and sister Margaret Durante, all of Carson City and sisters Eleonore Policastro of Florida, Julia Cabriele of New York and Virginia Tranzillo of New Jersey and grandchildren Paul Durante, Elizabeth Corda and Carolyn Whitehead.
Entombment will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
