Florence Virginia Wilkerson, 80, of Carson City died Friday at Carson Health Care.
She was born Jan. 9, 1920, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Earl and Josephine Zirngst Simpson.
A homemaker, Mrs. Wilkerson had lived in Carson city since 1981, moving here from Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a Catholic and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by husband Ray Wilkerson in 1985 and by a niece, June Koury, in 1999.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Lone Mountain Cemetery, with cremation by Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
