A graveside service for Gary Allen Moyle, 61, a Gardnerville resident for the past seven years and former Carson City resident, will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 18 at Eastside Memorial Park, 1600 Buckeye Road, Minden.
Mr. Moyle died Nov. 5, 2000, at Carson Valley Medical Center. He was born June 21, 1939, in Oakland, Calif., to James and Dorothy Wolfe Moyle.
He married Ann-Berit Henrikson Aug. 1, 1964, in Oakland, Calif.
Mr. Moyle was area manager for Shell Oil Co. in Northern Nevada and California for 30 years. He was active in Indian Guides and a member of Toastmasters while in Carson City. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Gardnerville.
He served in the U.S. Army for six years.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1982 in Placerville, Calif.
Among survivors are his wife Ann-Berit of Gardnerville; father James R. of Placerville, Calif.; sons Gregory A. and Christopher J. , both of Reno; daughter Kari A. Newberg of Reno; brother Bruce R. of Clovis, Calif. and grandchildren Jacob, Benjamin and Kaisa.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
