Obituary: Imogene "Jean" Gurriere

Imogene "Jean" Gurriere, 77, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died Sept., 7, 2000, at Carson Healthcare Center. She was born July 15, 1923, in Oklahoma to Dan and Laura Lockhart Edge.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Glendale, Calif.

Mrs. Gurriere was a retired bookkeeper who worked for Los Angeles County.

Among her survivors are her daughters Sandy (Al) Dey of Carson City and Mary Gurriere of Pasadena, Calif.; granddaughter Dana (Kevin) McCoy of Dayton and great-grandchildren Megan and Evan McCoy.

Per her request, no service will be held.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Suite 140, Las Vegas 89121.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
