Carson City resident Katherine L. Vochatzer died Nov. 23, 2000, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. She lived in Carson City for eight years after moving here from Yerington. She was 63.
Mrs. Vochatzer was born Dec. 19, 1936, in San Francisco to Fred and Andrea Weiss Ames.
Vochatzer is survived by her mother, of Hollister, Calif.; husband Donald of Carson City; sons William Mendonca of Reno, and Clifford Mendonca, of South Lake Tahoe; daughters Cindy Miller, of Bend, Ore., and Rhonda Bishop, of Carson City; brother David Ames, of Hollister, and three grandchildren.
No services will be held. Cremation will be by Sierra Crematory and other arrangements are being directed by John Sparks Memorial Cremation and Burial Society.
