Obituary: Mildred V. Andrews

A funeral for Mildred V. Andrews, 89, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30-10 a.m. Friday at Waltons.

Mrs. Andrews died Sept. 11, 2000, at Carson Healthcare. She was born Dec. 15, 1910, in Michigan, to Charles and Anne Hallman Lindstrom.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.

Mrs. Andrews was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and painting.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. George Andrews and daughter Deanna Fleix, all of Carson City; brothers Rodney Andrews and Richard Andrews, both of Homedale, Calif., and Jerry Andrews of Carson City; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
