Obituary: Robert Henry Galligan

Robert Henry Galligan, 70, a Carson City resident for the past four years, died July 9, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born March 24, 1930, in Canton, Mass., to Henry and Beatrice Parson Galligan.

Before moving to Cars on City, he lived in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mr. Galligan was a commercial plumber. He was a Catholic.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife Audrey in January 1999.

Among his survivors are his mother Beatrice of Dedum, Mass.; sons Michael Henry of Carson City and Lynn Patrick of West Hartford, Conn.; daughter Judith of Phoenix; sister Beverly of Dedum and two grandchildren.

No service is scheduled.

Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
