Obituary: Roberta Ann Swidergal

Roberta Ann Swidergal, 51, of Carson City died Friday at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.

She was born March 1, 1949, in Elmhurst, Ill., to Robert and Dorothy Barlow Foxon.

Mrs. Swidergal worked in the procurement office of the transportation department. She had lived in Carson city since 1985, moving from Hawaii. She had served in the U.S. Air Force.

Mrs. Swidergal volunteered at the Carson City Library. She loved to read and take walks and she loved animals. She was a Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Diane Taylor.

Survivors include mother Dorothy Foxon, sister Donna Wilson and brother Gary Foxon, all of Carson City; sister Darlene Bogusch of Atascadaro, Calif., and daughter Rachel Elizabeth Call of Vacaville, Calif.

No service is scheduled at this time. Walton's chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements and cremation will be by Walton's Sierra Crematory.
