Sheri Church, 38, a Carson City resident, died July 3, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1961, in Newport, R.I., to Gary and Bernice Towslee Rogers.
She had recently moved to Carson City from Corona, Calif.
Mrs. Church worked in sales for the Buyers Edge in Carson City. She was a Presbyterian. She loved jet skiing and hoped to open a day care center because she loved children.
Among her survivors are her mother Kay Church of Seattle, Wash.; father of Newfoundland, Canada; paternal grandmother Mary Rogers of San Marcos, Calif.; maternal grandfather, Harold Townslee of Topeka, Kan.; son Austin Church and sister Kari Rabino of Temecula, Calif.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Inurnment will be at Valley Funeral Home, Murietta, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
