Obituary: Willard C. Neuhauser

A memorial service for Willard C. Neuhauser, 86, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Capital Christian Center.

Mr. Neuhauser died July 26, 2000, at Sierra Convalescent Center. He was born May 10, 1914, in Kansas, to Samuel F. and Lottie Weaver Neuhauser.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Sequim, Wash.

Mr. Neuhauser was an engineer for ITT Gilfillan. He was a member of the Capital Christian Center.

He served in the U.S. Army for four years.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

Among his survivors are his wife of 48 years, Sylvia of Carson City; son David Ashby of Honduras, South America; daughter Carol Comstock of Carson City; sister Eral Coleman of California; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
