Pay-in-advance vets don't care about pets

On Tuesday Sept. 26, we were told we needed to take our beloved kitten to a vet that could do a surgery after being hit by a car in Lake Tahoe. Our vet told us this was the only place that could do the surgery and assured us that they would let us make some kind of arrangements for payment.

We brought our kitten to a veterinary hospital where they told us that our kitten would be himself after the surgery. We decided that we would spend whatever it took to have him back. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep that day because they would not accept any kind of payments. We had a considerable amount to put down but they refused to work anything out with us.

It is no wonder that people have to put there loved pets down because of vets who are not willing to help out people. Please let it be known for people to find a vet who really loves animals and is willing to work with you so you can have the ones you love around.
