Program is offered by U.S. Forest Service

The following program is being offered this weekend by the Carson Ranger District Office of the U.S. Forest Service:

Sunday: Wildflowers at Red Lake Peak near Kit Carson Pass on Calif. S.R. 88. A half-day hike beginning at 10 a.m. from the parking lot at Kit Carson Pass. A $3 parking fee. Groups size is limited to 11 people. Call to reserve a spot. Best for ages 8 and up.

Bring water, light snack, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, camera and film.
