Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., will host a hi-tech town hall meeting in Reno on Aug. 31 in the Lawlor Events Center President's Room beginning at 2 p.m.
The meeting will bring together technology business officials and officials from TechAlliance, the Washoe Airport Authority and the University of Nevada, Reno for a discussion of the future of high-tech business in Northern Nevada.
"Technology is driving economic growth in the United States and Nevada must not be left behind," Reid said.
