No one was injured when an alleged robbery suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash at US Bank just after 4 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect, described as a white male adult in his forties, was wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt, as well as a another jacket and hat, and dark glasses during the incident, said Sgt. Bill Devine of the Washoe County Sheriff's Incline Substation.

Two agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as Washoe County Sheriff's detectives from Reno came to Incline to investigate the incident.

The suspect, also described as having a day's growth of beard on his face and wearing blue jeans and white tennis shoes, allegedly held up a female teller at the bank.

The teller's name was not released by authorities.

The robber fled the bank on foot and left the area in an unknown direction, Devine said.

"This is the first robbery we've had in this community in a number of years," said Cmdr. Jim Musick.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call FBI agents Bill Jonkey and Kip Steele at (775) 885-1248, or Washoe County Sheriff's detectives at (775) 328-3320.
