RENO - Washoe County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who broke into a local bar and took more than $6,000 in change from slot machines.
Deputies said the man entered the Call of the Wild Bar in Sun Valley through a crawl space sometime early Thursday morning and then pried open a number of slots.
A surveillance tape shows the suspect to be a white male adult wearing blue jeans and a light-colored shirt.
Eight arrested in suspected meth lab operation
RENO - Eight people have been arrested in connection with the operation of suspected methamphetamine labs at three homes in the Reno area.
Consolidated Narcotics Unit detectives said an investigation began after they received tips about labs at the Sun Valley residences just north of Reno.
They said the operations were unrelated.
Detectives obtained search warrants and seized drug-making equipment at 5642 Lupin Way, 294 E. Ninth Ave. and 220 Haas Court.
The series of weeklong raids at the houses ended Thursday.
