Veterans of the Korean War hold initial meeting

Veterans of the Korean War held their initial meeting on Aug. 3 at the Round Table Pizza Parlor in Reno. There were 16 in attendance.

A steering committee was formed to establish time, dates and location of future meetings. Steering committee members include: Julian Rutkowitz, Pete Rivenberg and Fred Williams.

A service cut-off date for chapter enrollment is December 1955. It is anticipated the date will be extended by the National Headquarters in Arlington, Va.
