Double bass soloist Scott Faulkner will be the featured performer in Antonio Capuzzi's Concerto in F for Double Bass and Orchestra when the Carson City Symphony inaugurates its 16th concert season at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, in the Carson City Community Center.

Tickets are $12 ($10 for Association members); children 16 and under are free. Tickets are available at the door or by calling the Brewery Arts Center at 883-1976.

A reception honoring the soloist and newly-appointed Continental Harmony Project Composer-in-Residence Jim Cockey, will be hosted by the Carson City Symphony Association and the Brewery Arts Center immediately following the concert in the reception rooms at the Brewery Arts Center. For reception, call 883-4154.

This concert has been funded in part by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
