Double bass soloist Scott Faulkner will be the featured performer in Antonio Capuzzi's Concerto in F for Double Bass and Orchestra when the Carson City Symphony inaugurates its 16th concert season at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, in the Carson City Community Center.
Tickets are $12 ($10 for Association members); children 16 and under are free. Tickets are available at the door or by calling the Brewery Arts Center at 883-1976.
A reception honoring the soloist and newly-appointed Continental Harmony Project Composer-in-Residence Jim Cockey, will be hosted by the Carson City Symphony Association and the Brewery Arts Center immediately following the concert in the reception rooms at the Brewery Arts Center.
