The Carson City Natives and Newcomers Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. March 9 at the Carson Nugget with a buffet luncheon.
Natives and Newcomers is a women's service club whose members spend many hours in community service, give monetary contributions including an annual nursing scholarship, all made possible with money earned through various fund-raisers.
The club is open to anyone new to the area or looking for a way to serve the community. For reservations or information, call Bea at 882-9200.
