Carson's Lund receives law degree

Kelly Jean Lund, the daughter of Mark Lund of Carson City, recently received her law degree during the 76th annual commencement exercises of University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.

Kelly achieved the dean's honors list during academic years 1998 and 1999 and the Traynor Honor Society 2000. She was the recipient of Honors in Trial Advocacy Fall 1999 and Honors in International Appellate Advocacy Spring 1998 and was a member of the Environmental Law Forum during 1997-98-99, serving as the Forum's vice president during 1998-99.

Kelly, of Rockford, Ill., is a graduate of Boylan Central Catholic High School and Rockford College in Illinois. In September she will be commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy JAG division.
