Crime reports

The following incidents were reported Monday to the Carson City Sheriff's Department:

- A 37-year-old man arrested on a Carson City warrant for suspicion of failing to appear in court at 12:46 a.m. during a traffic stop at Fifth Street and Edmonds Drive.

- Several people smoking drugs out of a glass pipe at 2:05 a.m. in the 100 block of East Corbett Street. Report taken.

- Taillights stolen off a vehicle at 7:11 a.m. in the 1100 block of Beverly Drive. Report taken.

- Two reports that an "RC Cola" truck ran over a crosswalk sign at 9:32 a.m. in front of Smith's grocery store in the 500 block of Highway 50 East. Report taken.

- A stereo stolen from a vehicle at 10:03 a.m. in the 3400 block of Imperial Way. Report taken.

- Child welfare workers requested at 10:38 a.m. to investigate reports of cigarette burns on a 13-month-old baby in the 1800 block of North Carson Street. Report taken.

- A man panhandling at 2:05 p.m. in the parking lot of Wal-Mart on South Carson Street. The man was asked to stop.

- A domestic dispute at 2:55 p.m. in the 800 block of South Saliman Road. Report taken.

- A juvenile was taken into custody after it was reported at 4:37 p.m. that she was hitting a sibling and the mother was doing nothing to stop it in the 1300 block of Como Street.

- A 66-year-old man arrested for suspicion of destruction of property after it was reported that he was breaking windows at 4:57 p.m. in the 2000 block of West College Parkway.

- A juvenile stole beer from AM/PM at 8:44 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Carson Street.

- A man threatened by another man with a baseball bat at 9:09 p.m. in the 700 block of West Fourth Street. Report taken.

- Saul Beltran, 24, arrested for suspicion of felony domestic battery at 9:30 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain. According to reports Beltran hit his girlfriend with a closed fist, knocking her to the floor. He then continued hitting her and pulled a clump of hair out, reports indicate.

- A 21-year-old man arrested for suspicion of domestic battery at 11;17 p.m. in the 100 block of Koontz Lane.

- Clancy Christopher, 21, arrested for suspicion of felony methamphetamine possession at 2:17 a.m. Tuesday at Stewart and Washington streets. He was held on $2,500 bail.
