Dance club holds March 17 event

Carson's only Middle School Dance Club will premiere March 17 from 7-10 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.

This monthly event is sponsored by the "Stand Tall, Don't Fall," team to combat underage drinking. Cost is $5 per person and all tickets must be purchased in advance at the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada, 673 S. Stewart St. or Carson Middle School. No tickets will be sold the night of the event.

Youths are welcome to dance in a nightclub atmosphere and try a "mock-tail" to promote the positive aspects of being sober. Call Travis or Lori at 882-8820. Only middle school students may attend.
