Douglas County Parks and Recreation offers a new session of dog obedience Feb. 16 through March 22. The course will be taught by Guy Yeaman, is six weeks long and the registration fee is $60. Classes are held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Building.

You and your canine companion will learn to use a light-handed approach to establishing good conduct and curbing bad habits. Your dog will learn to heel, sit, stand, stay and recall. Each dog will need a fabric or leather lead and a choke chain and must be at least four months old.
