The Douglas County Sheriff's Office will be doing child safety seat inspections Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Inspections will be held in the rear parking lot of the Judicial and Law Enforcement Building in Minden.
This service is free. This inspection is completely voluntary. Officers will not be stopping motorists nor will anyone be directed into the inspection area such as a checkpoint. There will be several officers who are well trained and qualified to inspect the seat, demonstrate the proper installation procedure and inform the public of the laws in the State of Nevada regarding child passenger safety seats.
