An updated composite rendering of a possible murder witness or suspect was released Wednesday by the Lyon County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities want to question a man resembling the rendering in connection with the Jan. 9 death of truck driver Roger L. Kelly, 50, who was found stabbed in a motel parking lot at Fernley.

The man being sought is described as a white male with shoulder-length, light brown or dirty blonde hair; blue eyes, 5-feet-8 to 6-feet-1 and weighing about 135-155 pounds. He was wearing a red plaid shirt or red sweat shirt with hood, faded blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the man or other information about the incident can contact Sgt. John Arndell or Investigator Rob Hall at (775) 577-5026 or 577-5023.
