The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department will host an egg hunt for children 5 and under at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lampe Park in Gardnerville. The egg hunt is sponsored by Minden Rotary, Carson Valley Kiwanis, Carson Valley Sertoma and Sierra Nevada 20/30 Club.
Two hunt areas will be available - 3 and under and 4 and 5 year olds.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand, so cameras are suggested.
The event is free but preregistration is requested. Call the Recreation Division at 782-9828 to preregister by April 18.
