ALPINE LAKE: S.R. 4 is closed.


BLUE LAKES (UPPER AND LOWER):


Upper Blue Lake: No report.


Lower Blue Lake: No report.


BOCA RESERVOIR: No report.


CAPLES LAKE: Best action was by shore fishermen fishing from the dam that the highway crosses. They were catching average-sized rainbows with either Power Bait or small spinners.


CARSON RIVERS (EAST AND WEST) IN CALIF: Closed.


CRATER LAKE: No report.


DAVIS LAKE: No report.


EAGLE LAKE: No report.


FRENCHMAN RESERVOIR: No report.


FROG LAKE: No report.


INDIAN CREEK RESERVOIR: Largest trout was a 3-3.5 pound, 22-inch rainbow. Best action was with yellow Power Bait or nightcrawlers. The lake has turned over and the water looks like pea soup.


KINNEY RESERVOIR: S.R. 4 is closed.


MARKLEEVILLE CREEK: Closed.


MOKELUMNE WILDERNESS AREA: No report.


PLEASANT VALLEY CREEK: Closed.


PYRAMID LAKE: No report.


RAYMOND LAKE: No report.


RED LAKE: No report.


SACRAMENTO RIVER: No report.


SCOTT LAKE: No report.


SILVER LAKE: No report.


SILVER CREEK: Closed.


STAMPEDE RESERVOIR: No report.


LAKE TAHOE - North Shore: Easy limits of average sized Mackinaw trout, up to 6 pounds. Fishing in 250-450 feet of water, very early in the morning, in front of Kings Beach. Trolling with Herring Dodger flasher blades with pearl-colored Apex lures, live minnows or three-inch, blue-colored, rubber minnows.


TAMARACK-SUNSET LAKES: No report.


WALKER LAKE: Last Thursday, Bob "Slick" McCulloch and Don Quilici of Carson City fished at Walker Lake with Bud Higgins of Douglas County. They caught and released more than 15 cutthroat trout, up to 6 pounds. They were trolling at a depth of 40-50 feet with silver Flatfish lures. The largest cutthroat of the weekend was a 7.5 pounder caught by Ron Keys of Hawthorne. He caught that trophy with a Tor-P-D0 lure while spincasting at Sand Point.


WILDHORSE RESERVOIR: Weather has been beautiful. In the 60's in the daytime and down to a chilly 5 at nighttime. Fishing has been excellent. Limits in 1-2 hours. Mostly rainbows with some German browns, nothing really big. Both shore anglers and boaters are scoring with either Power Bait or nightcrawlers.


WINNEMUCCA LAKE: No report.


WOODS LAKE: No report.


YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK: S.R. 120 is closed.
