Greg Brown brings his warm and ragged baritone voice to the University of Nevada Reno in the Jot Travis Student Union on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m.

Brown is at it again. He never really stops. He rolls out songs at a breathtaking pace - songs that grow out of the music he loves. Brown's insightful lyrics reveal powerful images painted on a canvas of gospel, blues, rock, calypso and jazz.

He has recorded 12 albums, reaching the Top 10 playlists around the country and earning him a Grammy nomination.

His newest release, "slant 6 mind," continues towin him accolades and national airplay.

Opening for Greg Brown is singer/songwriter Stacey Earle. Sister of country music great Steve Earle, Stacey brings her own fresh and vital approach to country music. She sings with a mix of passion and innocence and her sweet soprano has a similar air to that of Nanci Griffith.
