You have the same situation pending in the Pine Nut Mountains, where the move is on to close down that road leading into/over clear to Minden/Gardnerville on whatever pretext they can come up with.
If Babbitt was so concerned with the extinction of bull trout, why in the hell didn't he get the wheels moving to spawn bull trout just like other trout species? No, he wanted another road closed.
As a full-time RVer, I notice from year to year more and more back country roads being closed and more restrictions being put in place by the likes of Babbitt. It's been said this is only being done for future generations. Hell! We are the future generation!
