Meeting for Walker River water interests

The Nevada Division of Water Planning is hosting a Walker River Basin Technical Network Meeting from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Frida, at the Convention Center in Hawthorne.

Purpose of the group is to provide a forum for those interested in the Walker River Basin to meet and share information, research projects and ideas about the Walker River watershed.

The technical network is an association of researchers, scientists, agencies, organizations and individuals interested in Walker River Watershed issues.

It is sponsored by the Nevada Division of Water Planning. The group has held eight meetings since first meeting in September 1995.

There are no dues or membership requirements. The technical network maintains no official policy or position on any watershed issues. It is devoted to the free and open exchange of information and ideas.
