Methamphetamine arrest

A 29-year-old Carson City construction worker was arrested for methamphetamine possession for the purpose of sale when a deputy reportedly found a container with several individual bags in the man's pocket.

Deputies spotted Kevin Dewayne Folds while responding to a report of suspicious subjects at 12:02 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Telegraph Street. The arresting deputy reported that he knew Folds from previous contacts.

Folds reportedly voluntarily told the officer about the drugs in his pocket.

A warrant was also out for Folds arrest for suspicion of violating a court order. He was held on $7,500 bail.
