Nevada Day organizers are inviting elementary and middle school students to help design a Nevada Day poster.

Winners will receive a $100 U.S. savings bond for their work. The poster should include one or more Nevada themes ranging from history to the environment, arts and entertainment or famous Nevadans. A spokesman said any medium including computer graphics is acceptable.

The posters should be 12 inches by 16 inches and include the student's name, address and phone number along with a brief paragraph describing the picture, the school and teacher's name on the back of the poster.

Entries should be postmarked by May 17. Call the Nevada Arts Council at 883-0345.
