A funeral for Florence A. Morganti, 74, a Carson City resident for 20 years, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Burial will follow the service at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
Visitation will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday at Walton's.
Mrs. Morganti died Feb. 22, 2000, at her home. She was born April 21, 1925, in Many, La., to Edward and Mary Sibley Shufflin.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Oakland, Calif.
Mrs. Morganti worked for Western Union and JC Penneys. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God in Reno.
Among her survivors are her husband of 52 years, Frank, of Carson City; son Frank E., of San Ramon, Calif.; daughter Nancy Morganti of Dublin, Calif.; brothers Otha of Lake Chas, La., and Charles of Shreveport, La.; sisters Mabel Kemp of Oklahoma City, Okla., Elizabeth Bernett of Tyler, Texas, and Ruth Lundquist of Jasper, Texas; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
