A memorial service for Helen Montgomery Moultrie, 84, a Silver Springs resident for six years and former Reno-Carson area resident for more than 40 years, will be at 3 p.m. May 21 at the Lakeview Baptist Church, 5280 Anita Ave., Silver Springs.

Mrs. Moultrie died May 10 at her home. She was born Jan. 5, 1916, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frederick and Mabel Reasoner Grose.

Mrs. Moultrie was a bookkeeper. She was a Christian Scientist. She enjoyed crafts, knitting , sewing and gardening. She loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Beverly Mello.

Among her survivors are her daughter Jayne Angell of Silver Springs; son Robert Montgomery of Locust Grove, Okla.; brother Jack Grose of Florissant, Mo.; sister Dorothy Laird of Beaumont, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
