A funeral for John Berry Pacheco, 50, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Pacheco died March 11, 2000, at his home. He was born Nov. 6, 1949, in Long Beach, Calif., to Henry Berry and Gloria Smith Cason.
Mr. Pacheco served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1982.
Among his survivors are his mother Gloria of Carson City; sons John G. of Los Angeles and Peter B. of Iowa and friend Sonya Hoffman of Carson City.
Burial will be at the Fernley Veterans Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
