Kathleen Mary Simons, 43, a Yerington resident for the past year, died Feb. 29, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born April 4, 1956, in Bridgeport, Calif., to Rex and Terryll Lynn Ricketts.
Before moving to Yerington, she lived in Coleville, Calif.
Mrs. Simons was a homemaker. She loved animals and doing crafts.
Among her survivors are her father, Rex Ricketts, of Yerington; mother, Terryll Crawford and maternal grandmother, Kay Lynn, both of Santa Maria, Calif. and brothers, Richard Ricketts, of Sparks and John Ricketts, of Yerington.
No service is planned.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
