A funeral for Kathryn C. Wagner, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 39 years, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Walton's.

Mrs. Wagner died Oct. 8, 1999, at Carson Health Care. She was born July 28, 1924, in Reno, to Budd L. and Mabel Johnson Holcomb.

Mrs. Wagner graduated from Reno High School and the University of Nevada, Reno.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived at South Lake Tahoe for two years.

Mrs. Wagner was a real estate broker. She enjoyed working with ceramics. She was a member of ADAH Chapter 4, Order of Eastern Star, Esther Chapter 3, Order of Eastern Star Past Matron and Ammon'Ra Temple 56 Daughters of the Nile Past Queen. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.G. "Bob" Wagner in January 1992 and sister, Ellen Wildbur.

Among her survivors are her son, Buzz, and wife, Ruthann, of Carson City; sisters, Martha Griffin of Smith Valley and Marion Rae of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
